Snow

It's unusual that we get three or four snows in one winter. Usually we're lucky to get one. Lucky, I guess, because it doesn't happen all that often, so we like when it does. It's snowing again tonight.

The first time it snowed, I was walking from my apartment to Southside when I saw this couple. I waited a long time on the 21st Street bridge, hoping they would hold hands or kiss. They never did.

I like this.
I love the patterns that the light is casting on the snow- as if the snow has a mesmerizing affect ... although, it appears to be a mesmerizing affect of loneliness :( Those two appear quiet and alone, but at least they are alone together... ha-ha. I also love the footprints at the bottom of the photograph. Nice!

thanks! yeah, the strange light patterns are what actually make this picture cool to me. I had never noticed them when there wasn't snow on the ground.
