A West Alabama Visit

I recently had the good pleasure of being in Hale County, Alabama, which is located in the western part of the state. Once one of the richest counties in the country, it has been on a long, slow decline for many years now. However, there are some fresh things happening there, which was what took me to the town of Newbern.

In Newbern you can see the barn which William Christenberry photographed a number of times. I took some frames for myself since I doubt I'll ever be able to afford one of his.
